Chengdu Emercy has developed an indexable and brazed head for deep hole drilling. Both of these tools are 100% interchangeable with the STS and DTS. Both have the same performance and price, and are available in different diameters. When compared to the former, the latter is an economical alternative for small diameter drilling operations. A brazed head is a threaded drilling head that is inserted into a hole by pushing it through an annular space between the drilled hole and the outer diameter of the tube. It is ideal for holes in the 25mm-45mm range, and has high metal removal and penetration rates. Brazed heads are generally threaded, whereas indexable heads can be inserted into the hole.
