Counterbore Head

Counter boring in deep hole drilling process refers to the operation of opening up and straightening one end of an existing hole concentric with the original one showing improved precision, versatility and productivity. Counter boring operation is made before the solid drilling head to act as a pilot hole for better preparation.

No matter the job is aluminum, titanium, or any other soft or hard materials our counter boring tool will get the drilling done. We offer a full line tools to be used on counter boring in lathe machine and deep hole drilling machine as well. Our counter boring head is designed with single cartridge or indexable insert depending on the sizes.

The counter boring head can be designed as per customer’s tolerance, finish requirement and also considering the hole depth; it can be designed with cartridge, bake lite guide pad, support guide; insert with various geometries. Also we make special surface treatment technology to not only improve the outlook but also life of the head for better resistance. H7
